Travel Advisor

Bristol City Council operates an Active Travel and Engagement Team on behalf of the West of England Unitary Authorities (UAs) made up of South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, and North Somerset. This work is part of the sustainable travel behaviour change programme which has been integral to the West of England’s sustainable transport offer since 2011. 

As a Travel Advisor you will work as part of a skilled team engaging with the public and encouraging people to travel more sustainably. You will be required to work in various locations across the four authorities, actively managing the promotion of sustainable transport at workplaces, local events, schools, in communities and in residential settings, both indoors and out.

Permanent, Part time 12.75hrs per week. The days you may be working are flexible and will include some weekends as well as weekdays. 

Location: Based at Create Centre, working in Bristol and out about all over the local region
